⸻ Live, weekly, in the Virtual Clubhouse

The baseball podcast you can talk back to.

Every week, a retired Major League player sits down live and takes questions straight from the room. Not the same five highlight-reel stories he’s told a hundred times, the real ones. The slump. The call-up. The best advice he ever got. The thing he’d tell his younger self. Ask yours live, free, or catch the full episode the next day on Spotify and YouTube.

⸻ What this is

A retired big leaguer, live, taking your questions.

You’ve watched these players for years. You’ve never once gotten to ask them anything. Every week, one of them shows up live in the Virtual Clubhouse and the room asks the questions, about the slump he couldn’t shake, the game that changed everything, the call he almost didn’t get, the best advice anyone ever gave him.

It’s the opposite of a press junket. The kind of conversation that happens in a dugout after a long game, when the truth comes out because the person telling it has lived it.

Who it’s for

If you love the game, there's a seat for you.

You don’t have to be twelve, and you don’t have to still be playing. Live from the Dugout is built for anyone who ever cared how the story actually went. The lifelong fan who never got to ask. The player at any age, youth, college, or beer league, walking a version of the same road. The parent and kid who’d rather talk about something real on the ride home. Same room, same conversation.

We had such a cool experience joining a live chat with retired baseball player Lorenzo Cain. My daughter even got to ask him a question in real time, which made it feel extra special. It was a truly unique opportunity for our baseball-loving family to connect with the game in such a personal way.

⸻ What you will hear

The questions you'd actually ask. And finally get to.

A few you will see on the calendar this season:

What were you really thinking with the game on the line?
What finally pulled you out of your worst slump?
What's the best advice you ever got, and who gave it to you?
What did the broadcasts never get right about you?
Which teammate changed the way you played the game?
If you could start over, what would you do differently?

⸻ Who shows up

Every voice on Live from the Dugout has lived the answer.

Each speaker is a retired player, coach, or special guest, coordinated through a partnership with Major League Alumni Marketing, powered by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association.

They’re not bought and they’re not here to plug anything. They show up because these are the conversations they actually want to have, with the people who’d actually want to ask.

⸻ How it works

⸻ What we are not

We are not a press junket. We are not a clinic. We are not a celebrity meet-and-greet.
We are the conversation you get to be in.

Not a highlight reel

Not a talk-at-you interview

Not a motivational brand

Not a meet-and-greet
